Silly needs a new home…

So the day has come… it’s time to really put her out there and find her a new home. A little over a year ago, Matt from Farm of Minds put out a teaser ad out there for me just to get an idea if anyone’s interested. So now this is fo’ real.

I’ve owned this car since 2003. All the modifications were done by me, and various shops that I chose. I guess I could ramble forever about the car, but for the most part the mod list will tell the story. The car is a poser drift machine – never been to a drift track at all. The only kind of action it has seen were small auto-cross tracks, and various street battles. As you can see, she’s been through several pairs of shoes. I’ll post offsets later, so please dont email me just to ask about the width and offset… The rear quarters have been rolled and pulled with a Part Shop MAX fender roller.

The car was data-log tuned for 15-17psi. A fine tune is strongly suggested.

No accidents.

Some issues:

The car started out as an automatic. I never finished the conversion to a 100%, so the reverse lights are not wired up. All instructions can be found online.

Same with the parking brake. Due to the car wearing Z32 rear calipers, a different – drum-style Z32 parking brake system was required. All is there, except for the cables.

Windshield is cracked at the roof line.

Aluminum A/C line is cracked, needs to be replaced.

Decel air settings haven’t been fine tuned, so heel-toe braking is a must, otherwise the car will stall. Haven’t had a chance to mess with the E-manage settings, nor recirc the BOV – both scenarios would address the issue.

  3. Holy chit man!! That’s funny, I saved that pic of your car on the Takata TE’s a long time ago…. It turns out not only can you draw but you can also put together a couple of fine looking automobiles as well. The Works are killing me!! You interested in a Starlet? 😉
